I’ve spent a significant part of my life giving people things that I’ve made rather than bought. I like that I can do that, though sometimes I get stuck in the question of whether or not they really wanted something like that – just because it’s what I was into making at the time – or even whether my gift was a decent version of the thing it is.
Made Mom a new version of her website and launched it for her birthday. We’d been working back and forth on a new version for a while (too long), and I kept getting stuck on the parts I didn’t like about it, so I started fresh and just ran with a new idea and posted it.
Pretty happy with it, and I believe she is, too. Yay.
Had to quash the Squirrel Brain, who kept saying it wasn’t ready, wasn’t right, wasn’t good enough.
